Xuexiang Han received a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Shanghai University in 2014 and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Tsinghua University (a joint PhD program with National Center for Nanoscience and Technology) in 2019 under the supervision of Profs. Yuliang Zhao (赵宇亮), Yadong Li (李亚栋) and Guangjun Nie (聂广军). He was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Prof. Michael J. Mitchell's lab in the Department of Bioengineering at University of Pennsylvania during 2020–2024. In Feb 2024, Dr. Han joined Center for Excellence in Molecular Cell Science (i.e., Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) as a Professor/Principal Investigator. The Han Lab focuses on novel lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for RNA vaccines/therapeutics development to address the unmet biomedical needs. Dr. Han has published 60+ papers in peer-reviewed journals, including Nature, Nat. Chem., Nat. Nanotechnol., Nat. Biomed. Eng., Nat. Mater., Nat. Commun., JACS etc.
