The core facility of molecular biology(CFMB) is located in Shanghai and provided a centralized access to one of the principle units of the Advanced Biotechnology Core Facilities at Institution of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (SIBCB). A variety of instruments are availabe within the CFMB, most instruments are laid in Room 207, the ultracentrifuges are located in Room 107, and autoclaves in Room 103. Major items of equipment used by the institute and available for graduate student research include Circular Dichroism, Biomolecular Interaction Analysis, Multi-purpose Image Scanner, Fluoresence Spectrophotometer, UV/Visible Spectrophtometer, Luminometer / Fluorometer, Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, Real-time PCR, Luminescent Image Analyzer, Ultracentrifugation, White / Ultravidet Transilluminator, ULT Freezer, High Speed Centrifugation, DHPLC, Freeze Dry System, Lab water purification system-type2 and Autoclaves.
