Introduction
Shanghai Center for Comprehensive Protein Science (SCPS) will be housed in the National Protein Science Facility (NPSF) -Shanghai, which is the largest Protein Science platform in China and is being constructed and managed by Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (SIBCB) and Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences (SIBS), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). SCPS will conduct research and provide service in many key areas of protein science, including X-ray crystallography, NMR, electron microscopy, single molecule technology, functional proteomics, cell imaging, animal imaging, and bioinformatics, as well as synchrotron applications.
