Research Interests
Our laboratory is interested in the structures of cell surface receptors and receptor-ligand interactions. We are combining various molecular and structural techniques, including three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction by electron microscopy (single particle reconstruction, tomography, etc.), X-ray crystallography and small angle X-ray scattering, to determine 3D structures of cell surface molecules and the corresponding complexes involved in immunological recognition, antibody transport, cell adhesion and viral cell entry.
