个人简介:
  1998年获Tulane University分子细胞生物学博士学位。1999至2005年在加州大学分子生物学研究所先后为博士后及助理研究员,2006年任上海生化细胞所研究员,博士生导师。目前任国际期刊《JBC》、《TRANSCRIPTION》编委,以及《中国细胞生物学报》编委,中国细胞生物学学会秘书长。“百人计划”和上海“浦江人才计划”获得者。曾担任国家重大科学研究计划首席科学家。获国务院特殊津贴及中国科学院优秀指导教师奖、“朱李月华”优秀教师奖。

研究方向:发育与疾病的转录与表观遗传调控

研究工作:
  哺乳动物的转录中介体(Mediator)是由大约30个蛋白质组成的多蛋白复合体,是介于转录因子与mRNA Polymerase II基础转录机器之间的连接桥梁。几乎所有的基因表达都需要Mediator的调节。不同的转录因子受到环境及发育信号的影响时,就会与Mediator中的某个特定的亚基发生相互作用,促进Polymerase II及通用转录因子(GTFs)在特定基因起始序列上的聚集,并形成预起始复合物(PIC),从而控制基因表达的水平。
        长期专注于转录中介体在发育和疾病中的功能研究。作为通讯作者在Mol Cell,Dev Cell,Genes Dev,EMBO J,Nat Commun, PNAS等杂志发表论文。首次提出平滑肌与脂肪细胞的“双向调控”及其共同起源(Dev Cell, 2009; Genes Dev, 2012);发现Mediator不同亚基在胚胎干细胞干性维持及多谱系细胞分化中的不同功能(Development, 2015);发现转录中介体亚基MED23参与调控间充质干细胞向成骨细胞分化过程,并影响成骨的发育(Nat Commun, 2016);揭示Mediator作为表观遗传调控因子,调控癌症与肌肉细胞分化之间的拮抗作用(EMBO J, 2015);多次获邀撰写Mediator通过转录、表观遗传调控决定细胞谱系发育的综述(Development, 2014; WIREs RNA, 2015);多项工作作为Mol Cell,EMBO J等重要学术期刊的封面文章发表,获同期专评,以及Faculty1000、NatureAsia-AIMBN的亮点评论。
